Watch the Scott Brothers Transform Kris Jenner's Friend's Run Down Backyard into a Stunning Outdoor Living
The Property Brothers are two of the most well-known and accomplished designers on television. They regularly generate fresh ideas for everyday difficulties. To do something life-changing for her buddy, Lisa, they recently collaborated with entrepreneur and TV icon Kris Jenner on Celebrity IOU. After her spouse died, Lisa returned to the neighborhood, and Kris wanted to provide her with a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience. Drew and Jonathan Scott were thrilled to get involved in the project, which promised a stunning personal retreat.
Celebrity IOU follows some of Hollywood's favorites as they give life-changing makeovers to significant others in their lives. Drew and Jonathan Scott assists one star at a time in each episode, assisting them in transforming their home into something extraordinary. In episode five, Kris called in daughters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to help create an all-star outdoor kitchen, remove the broken pool, install a new custom pool, and build an outdoor fireplace and conversation area. We are thrilled that Drew and Jonathan included Summerset Superstore in Kris Jenner's generosity.
The Scott brothers were able to give Lisa the outdoor space she never thought possible. Constructed in a beautiful location, Lisa's backyard had sat untouched for years and needed serious help. They removed her old swimming pool, which they deemed "unsightly." They replaced it with a stunning modern pool at the back of the property, surrounded by serene landscaping, pool loungers and umbrellas on one end, and an outdoor living area on the other. In place of the old pool, they created a cozy fireside sitting area to spend relaxing evenings.
To complete the outdoor experience, a custom-everything outdoor kitchen was crafted with everything Lisa could need. Summerset Superstore's design team designed and crafted two custom islands to create a galley-style kitchen. Modern and sleek, each island features waterfall counters and plenty of counter space for prepping and serving. The grill island houses an Estate Grill from American Made Grills with a matching side burner, a double refrigerator from Summerset Grills, and a matching backsplash with an upper shelf for storage.
The second custom island is fitted with a built-in dry storage pantry, trash drawer, dry storage cabinet, and a built-in sink to keep the area clean and sparkling. Thanks to the sintered stone countertops and the picturesque Southern California climate, Lisa's kitchen will become the haven she needs.
Lisa was amazed by the outcome and display of compassion of Kris, Kim, Kendall, Drew, Jonathan, and the Celebrity IOU crew at the reveal. They transformed this barren piece of land into a lush olive grove thanks to the Property Brothers. She may now relax by the fire on a chilly evening under a warm blanket with the company of her favorite trees. We are grateful to have been involved in this project as the Scott Brothers applied their creative abilities to bring joy and inspiration to a dear woman.
